The impeller condensate extraction pumps of the series KsV are used for condensate pumping in the steam-water networks of the heat power plants. They are also used in the systems of heat and water supply in frame of the import substitution program, LGM the joint stock company developed in 1999 and now produces a new number of condensate electric pumps of the series KsV and KsV 2 with the discharge from 80 to 650 m3/h and the height of lift from 85 to 160 m for the heat power plants equipped with turbines from 16 to 300 MW in power. Those pumps series are represented by the following models:
Those pumps series are represented by the following models:
• single-shaft pumps: KsV 320-160, KsV 80-160, 1 KsV 500-160, 1 KsV-650/130
• twin-shaft pumps : KsV 2 320-160, KsV 2 500-85.
Distinctive characteristics of the electric pumps of the series KsV and KsV 2 are the following ones:
• enhanced cavitation sensitivity of the single-shaft pumps at the expense of twofold decrease of rotary rotations per minute. This allowed not only decreasing dynamic load on pump rotor but as a consequence also increasing their resource and reliability.
• conceptually new in design twin-shaft pumps have broadened (from 0.3 to 1.4 of nominal discharge) range of reliable and stable work, which allows decreasing equipment assortment and lowering operating costs on maintenance work and repair. Cavitation sensitivity of these pumps comes up to 0.5 … 0.6 m in permitted discharge range, which significantly surpasses the same characteristic of classical single-shaft pumps making 1.1…1.3 m.
• four standard sizes of twin-shaft pumps cover such range of discharge and height of lift, for which it is necessary to use 6…7 standard sizes of pumps made in Production Association “NasosEnergoMash” (Sumy the town, Ukraine).
